Portia Parker Portia Parker has been an administrator with Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) since 2017, serving the communities of Mattawoman Middle School and Benjamin Stoddert Middle School as an assistant principal. Prior to pursuing a career in administration, Parker was a math teacher in both Maryland and North Carolina. Ms. Parker served nine years teaching math in North Carolina and then joined Charles County Public Schools as a teacher in 2014. She has been an educator for over 18 years and a parent to a CCPS student since 2014. Parker has a bachelor of science in mathematics and a master of science in mathematics education, both from Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. |
